AIM Training Conferences

What is an AIM Training Conference?
These conferences, sponsored by the national AIM office and Assemblies of God World Missions, provide training for youth pastors, senior pastors, District Youth Directors, and lay leaders who will lead AIM trips in the coming year.

What can you expect from an AIM Training Conference?
The sessions focus on the relationships of the missionaries and the mission teams. Hear from key speakers like Tom Greene (National Youth Director), Mark McGrath (NYM Global Ministries), and Randy Hurst (Assemblies of God World Missions). Topics include what the missionary needs from a mission team, what to realistically expect from a mission trip, right and wrong reasons to have a mission trip, crisis situations and advance planning, and legal issues. The training closes with a powerful commissioning service at which the directors and msisionaries pray for each participant, commissioning them to lead their AIM teams.

What are the benefits of AIM Training?
Aside from the fellowship and encouragement that takes place, it is inspiring to hear the testimonies of those who have seen so many lives changed on missions trips.Completion of these workshops also earns you a certification card that is valid for two years and qualifies you to lead a national AIM trip. Once a your certification has expired, you will need to attend another conference.
